I need a vacation!!!!

Ok so the last month and a half has been very stressful. At the end of January my grandma Keate passed away. We had the funeral and I was starting to become normal again, when my grandma Spring passed away 2 weeks ago. Having both grandmas pass within 5 weeks of each other has been hard. I miss them both terribly. Needless to say I need a vacation. It's a good thing that for Spring Break my family is going to Newport beach. Audra is coming with us and I think Kim is bring Linz. So we are going to have a blast. I need this time to just veg out and do something fun.

It's Done!!!!!

Here are some photos of my guest room or what I should call it my gym room.  This room took forever to paint.  If you read in my post before you know that this stripe was a pain in my butt.  I didn't let it defeat me.  I got the stripe done.  It took forever, but I got it done.  I am really excited about how it turned out.  Now I just need to use the equipment that is in                      there. 

My Guest Bedroom Mess

Ok so I am painting my guest bedroom. The colors are a A light tan, Turquoise Tint, and a deep walnut brown. So this was my idea. I painted one wall the accent color turquoise green. Then I painted the other 3 walls the light tan. Then about 10 inches from the ceiling I am going to paint a deep brown stripe. Well, I got all the walls painted and was starting to mark off the lines for the stripe. Well, I marked it all the way around the room and the 2 ends didn't match up. So now I am trying to decide if I even want the dumb stripe. I told my dad how I screwed up and he said that I pulled a Kim move. (Love ya Kim) Ya it was a pretty blonde way of doing it. Let me explain. I measured 10 inches down from the ceiling. Then I got out my level that is about 6 inches long, and drew lines with my level. Well, I didn't take into consideration that the walls aren't all the same height and I was about 2 inches off when I got back around to the start. So now if I am going to do the dumb stripe I have to do it a different way. But no matter what now I have to paint over my lines I drew on. I HATE PROJECTS THAT I SCREW UP!!!!!! Oh well, I'll let you know how it turns out.

YAY REBELS!!!!

THE LOSING STREAK IS GONE!!!! WE WON!!!!! NOW IF WE CAN JUST KEEP IT UP. WINK, JOE, RENE, AND OSCAR DID GREAT. WINK WAS THE PLAYER OF THE GAME BUT JOE WASN'T FAR BEHIND HIM. JOE WAS LOOKING GOOD WITH THOSE 3 POINTERS. GOTTA LOVE IT WHEN HE IS HOT!!!!! NOW WE JUST NEED TO KEEP WINNING. THEN MAYBE WE CAN BE A CONTENDER IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP.

Rebel Game

Ok we have a rebel game tonight. I hope we win. We have been on a losing streak. This needs to stop. So hopefully we will beat TCU tonight and then Colorado on Saturday. I was so sad when UNLV lost the last 2 games in overtime by 1 point. We have to do some real winning to get back in the fight to go to the tournament. Keep your fingers crossed for us.

New Job

Well it's looking like I won't be in the pre kinder class much longer. I was told that they are looking for a perminate teacher to come take over. The principal at my school said that she misses me as the perminate sub. So it is looking like I will be going back to that job. I am sad about it but on the other hand I am OK with it. See come next year I don't know if they are going to need my position at all of the schools. So if I go back to day to day subbing than maybe next year they will keep me here at the school. Well, we can only hope. I have to say though that I am very sad to say goodbye to my pre kinders. They are just so cute. I loved having this job, but I knew that it might only be temporary.

My New Job

So I was told by the Assistant Principal on Friday that I would be taking over the Pre Kinder class at Tartan Elem.  I am so excited about this.  This is finally a job in my age group that I am going to school for.  I am very stressed about this job because now I am going to be the teacher.  I am going to have to do teacher things like IEPS, lesson plans, and maybe report cards (not to sure about reports cards).  So all of my teacher friends out there if I come to you for help PLEASE HELP ME I'm new at this stuff.  But overall I am very excited to get to know the children and have some fun with them.  3 and 4 year olds are the best to teach.  They are very willing to learn and have fun.  Keep your fingers crossed for me so that I do well.
